Khat writing is an important heritage of the Islamic civilisation. A prize presentation ceremony was held for the Khat Competition for Muslimah Guidance Classes Nationwide at Az-Zakireen Mosque in Kampung Meragang, 21st May morning.

The prizes were presented by Datin Norazimah binti Haji Ramlee, wife of the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. Organised by the Muslimah Affairs Division, Department of Mosque Affairs, in collaboration with the Az-Zakireen Mosque takmir committee, the competition's goal was to improve understanding on khat writing, and instil interest in said writing among Muslimah.
